The C M C press shop are now producing angle girders in excellent quality. We have sourced the correct raw steel for these girders [ size and correct VPN ] we tool from well engineered press tools and fold on a promecam RG 25 -35 press brake. The painted girders are first etch primed then followed be a 2k paint system [wet on wet].
They are available in zink ,medium green and 78 B,R dark blue. We can for a special order 1930s gold [very expensive base coat]. We can also on request supply unfinished girders [no paint ], just debarred for those who might like to paint your own. In any colour

The C M C also bring you flat girders tooled from the same tooling as angle only flat. The flat girders are tooled from the same VPN raw steel as angle girders. This is a slightly lower VPN as originals [flat ]. We feel to keep costs down to you we have purchased 1 metric tonne raw material specially made for the job. Make no mistake this raw material is not CR4. Its CS4 the aim of the press shop is to bring you a finished item as close as possible to a standard we would except ourselves. All flat girders are available same spec as in colours that are close to originals.

The C M C press shop realise that some model builders from time to time would need special angled girders or a special length of girder angle or flat. We are in the position to offer custom made girders and with a short lead time are happy to take orders in special requirements

Train Wheels
The CMC from time to time do make a special 146 6inch circular flat for making large train wheels. Instead of using standard 146s, our special 146 adds a little more finnise and charicture to train wheels, giving your model a little more detail. These plates have a similar cutout to the hubdisk and are to work along with 118s or 143s.
The CMC Special 146 is only £9 in a colour of your choice. Just contact us for more details
The CMC have also developed tooling to make a flanges for turning spocked wheels into train wheels. Tthe flange is a snug fit to most wheels and will need a little gluing or locktighting to secure to the spoked wheel. No need for screws or any other fixing that will ruin your wheel.

The C M C also can supply stainless steel washers by the bag. 1000 washers; these are 4mm and a nice fit and a real tidy alternative at an affordable price. The club has been using them for 2 years now.

CMC Flexible Track For Tanks and Diggers (Cat track).
The C M C press shop have been developing their own flexible track [cat track ] for the building of any digger, tank or even any tracked model you wish to have a go at building. We can supply all the relevant parts to make for a no fuss system that is plug n play. The system is all our own design featuring stainless steel links and Stainless Steel drive wheels and matching idlersin 3 sizes and a profiled top plate. We are trying to give you a cat-track that is as close to the real thing but made in such a way that it will match in with Meccano to compliment the Meccano system. All cat track parts are either precision laser cut or pressed from press tools and are that finished tooled in specially made press tools to a very high standard. The drive and idlers are supplied boss less. This is for 2 main reasons; 1 so solid bush wheels can be used and 2 you can choose the size of the axle you would prefer to use.
